“After several months, I really don’t know where to begin with all the benefits that my 5 1/2 year old Rottweiler, Nick Charles, has received from using Arthro-IonX from VETiONX.

My Rottie is back to himself as if the injury to his leg, thigh and hip (my Vet could not diagnose whatever it was) never occurred. He no longer holds the problem right leg straight out to lie down. “She continues to run and hunt like she did when younger.”

“My four year old English Setter female, Doti, was diagnosed with severe arthritis in her knees March 2010.

She is a bird dog – loves to run and hunt birds and has done so every day since I got her in 2005. The vet suggested I don’t limit her running since it would make her very unhappy to do so. He said to let her run as long as she was willing to do so.

The past year she had slowed down some, but still continued to run and hunt. She had limped off and on when hunting heavily, and the month or two before I had her x-rayed. She was limping more.

She didn’t seem to be in a lot of pain, but the vet said she probably was. She did hide behind the couch often and had times she was not social. I believe these are signs of pain.

In researching an alternative to surgery I found Arthro-IonX and started her on it the 20th of April of this year. Within the first week I noticed she wasn’t limping as much and seemed to be running faster. After a few weeks she was definitely running faster again, as she had over a year ago and was obviously enjoying running once again. After a month she ran across the fields back and forth just for the fun of it, like she had done over a year ago.

She did have some stiffness when getting up from lying for a long time and had times she limped some after resting. I have kept her on Glucosamine also, (which she was on for over a year) and she is on her third bottle of IONX.

So far she seems to be improving and has shown no sign of limping or pain in the past three weeks. The swelling has gone down in her knees although the hard lumps are still there. She continues to run and hunt with vigor like she did when younger.

“Our dog, Daisy, is a beautiful sable and white Sheltie (Shetland Sheep dog) who has grown to become a very special family pet. My wife and I lost a Peek-a-Poo to illness when she was only a few years old in the early 1990’s. We were very sad, but decided to get another dog and began researching breeds until we decided on a Sheltie. Through that process we meet an older couple who owned a kennel that bred only sable and white Shelties using champion dogs. We became friends after our first visit. Of course, that led to our first Sheltie, Katy, who was spectacular in her character and beauty. Katy, who was bred from a champion male, had an extremely gentle manner.

In time, it was clear Katy needed a pet, so we got a cat, Nicodemus, who grew into a large solid black house cat. As we have learned over the years, Shelties are smart and adapt so well. In no time Katy had Nicodemus trained just like a dog. In fact, Nicodemus was more dog than cat. He came on command and even bathed in the shower with Katy. Unfortunately, Nicodemus died in the late 90’s due to to a lung problem.

Well, that led us to get back in touch with our breeder friends. We had moved to another state and were saddened to learn that the wife of our breeder had passed away. Since they were a team operation and older, this gentleman said he was getting out of the breeding/puppy business. He stated to us that his wife always said she wanted to give us another Sheltie because of our special bond with them and the Shelties. He asked us to come and visit when he had his last Sheltie litter. We ended the conversation never thinking we would get another dog and our plans were to only visit a grieving friend. But, I’m sure you know that this became more than just visiting a grieving friend. We fell in love with a cute 2 week old Sheltie puppy who would become our treasured Daisy who we have to this day.

Daisy came home with us when she was 8 weeks old and grew into a friend for Katy and our whole family. Katy passed away 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 13+ and Daisy is now going on 12. Since losing Katy we have not had the heart or reason to get Daisy a pet, because we are all her “pets”. She loves everyone and has that very special gentleness that only comes, we believe, with the Sheltie breed.

Daisy has developed moderate lameness from arthritis in her joints that led us to using Arthro-IonX based on a friend’s recommendation. “This is a Miracle in a bottle! I just felt compelled to share my story after seeing the amazing effects this product, Arthro-IonX, has had on my 18 year old Sheltie.

In mid-November 2009, my dog was having difficulty lifting himself up and down with his hind right hind leg off of the floor, particularly hard surfaces such as tile or hardwood as the traction is already non-existent. As I would see him struggle, I’d gently lift him up from behind and then he’d be on his way. However, I began noticing this more frequently and one day, in December 2009, when I went to help lift him up, he simply just fell back to the floor. We tried this repeatedly, and he’d be up for 10 seconds then back down on the floor.

Needless to say, I “flipped”! It was absolutely disheartening to watch. Not knowing what to do or where to turn, I called a dear friend of mine and pet lover in despair. We prayed for “Sam”, as I was sure this was a sign of the end. After all, his life span, at the high end is 15 years, and he is now 18, which I attribute some to his being on a very good diet of mostly organic and natural dog foods during his life.

With tears in my eyes, I went online desperately to find ANYTHING, and found myself on this website. I knew a vet would give him some sort of prescription drug that have so many ugly side effects and I just didn’t want to have to do that at his age. “Klondike is an older Keeshond, probably around 12 years old. He was a shelter stray, so we don’t know for sure. About a year ago, he was diagnosed with arthritis in his front legs at the elbows. We had been giving him painkillers, but that didn’t address the problem, just covered it up.

“Hello again. This is an update on Mickey, my yellow Lab.

Mickey has been taking Arthro-IonX for years now, and I wouldn’t want him to be without it. Mickey has been through so much the past couple of years. The arthritis is only one part of his genetic deficiencies.

Two and a half years ago, Mickey had a horrible experience with spontaneous pneumothorax. The first time his lungs collapsed, we opted out of surgery, and were told that it might, or might not happen again. It did, six months later. We had the surgery for him, where he had the upper portion of his right lung removed where the bulla caused the collapse. “Sasha was 2 when I adopted her (she’s now 12) and has always had tenderness around her joints. She is active; swims and retrieves, curious and bright.

About 2 years ago she tumbled and sustained an injury to right shoulder, resulting in a pronounced limp after activity and periods of inactivity. Her diagnosis was arthritis. “Four years ago, my 10 year old Dachshund Basset Hound dog Oscar started limping quite badly due to arthritis and other lumps and bumps. He was treated for his pain initially with aspirin and also carprofen from the vet. These remedies helped some, but never totally. “Tita is a shepherd mix, 10 years old and weighing in at about 75 pounds. Her hip problems began at age 4. Over time pain management has been aspirin and joint related supplements that helped for awhile. During November 2007 she took a turn for the worse. I use Arthro-Ionx for my elder malamute, Megan. I believe it has truly improved her quality of life.
