Arthritis and Rimadyl

Dr. Char,

My 15 year old Jack Russell is experiencing arthritis pain and inflammation. The only thing the Vet has given her is Rimadyl which has an affect on liver enzymes. We just had to increase the dose to 1/2 pill a day. It gives her some relief but she still walks stiff jointed and tears up. She isn’t moaning or crying out in pain but she has twice not been able to get up and walk, which is why we increased the dose. I’m hoping that Arthro-IonX will heal her to the point we can take her off Rimadyl. Is this possible? I have ordered a couple bottles to try it and I’m hoping that it will give her the support she needs without affecting any of her other organs. Is Arthro-IonX something I can use long-term instead of Rimadyl or should I use it in conjunction with it? I’m guessing I’ll know for sure once she’s on it and I see a marked improvement. Right now her appetite has decreased dramatically and it makes her nauseous and tired. I’m looking forward to giving your product a try. Thank you.

Dear Cheryl,

You may use Arthro-IonX along with Rimadyl and Arthro-IonX may be used long term without the side effects associated with NSAIDS. As you begin to see improvements then you can begin to decrease the dose of Rimadyl while continuing to maintain a comfort level. Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Dr.Char
