Our 11 year old Dalmatian was on Deramax for arthritis. She developed problems with kidney function and now she is barely able to walk and unable to use stairs. The vet does not have any more suggestions at this time.

Dear Steve,

Promaxol would be a good choice to help get things manageable again. Once the condition is stable you could switch to Arthro-IonX. Promaxol contains the very potent LM potencies. The homeopathic ingredients in both products address pain and inflammation. The oligotherapeutic base helps stimulate the enzymes system in the body to facilitate healing. In cases of seveer arthritis I find it helpful to also give digestive enzymes with meals, and probiotics, MSM, and fish oil daily. In dogs that have questionable nerve function to the rear legs I also use a choline product called Geri-Form. Together with the IonX products it is synergistic for faster results. Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Dr.Char
