I have been using these two products for 35 days (half dose the 1st 25 days) on my 15yr. old Siamese and Oriental short hair. They are litter mates. Chauncey (Oriental) has had Diabetes off and on over the last 3 yrs. Three times it has lasted for 2 to 3 months and then his sugar levels off on Lantus.
You may use Arthro-IonX along with Rimadyl and Arthro-IonX may be used long term without the side effects associated with NSAIDS.
Arthro-IonX and Promaxol are very similar; the difference being that Promaxol also contains LM potencies of each of the ingredients. If the condition is not real severe we usually start with Arthro-IonX.

It is safe to use Arthro-IonX with any other medications. It helps to cleanse the cells and stimulates enzyme systems in the body to help it to heal. In addition, I like to give geriatric pets digestive enzymes with meals, some probiotics, and a little high quality fish oil.
