Why Dr. Char Chooses Arthro Chews
Hello! I'm Dr. Charline Wilson, DVM, affectionately known here as "Dr. Char." As a vet, I pride myself on a holistic approach to pet care and I opt for the safest, most natural approach possible. It's exciting to see more and more people realizing they don't need to choose between a safe, natural option or an effective one for their pets. You truly can have it all! That's why I recommend Arthro Chews.
With a potent, clinically-researched blend of nutrients, Arthro natural. No harsh chemical drugs and none of their risks! Just a delicious, naturally-flavored chew treat and support for your pet’s healthy joints, cartilage, bones, muscles, immunity, and mobility.
Potent Nutrition for Healthy Joints & Mobility
Glucosamine HCl: While your pet’s body naturally produces glucosamine (an amino sugar used to build cartilage), aging and certain health conditions can cause their bodies to produce less than is ideal. As a result, they may end up with thinner, stiffer, less shock-absorbing cartilage. Supplementing with glucosamine HCl helps support healthy cartilage structure, joint comfort, and mobility.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): Produced naturally in a healthy body, MSM is an organic compound containing biologically active sulfur. This is important because sulfur is necessary to build and repair cartilage, bone, and muscle. As a result, supplementing with MSM supports healthy cartilage, muscles, joint comfort, and mobility.
Perna Canaliculus (GlycOmega™ brand Green-Lipped Mussel): Native to New Zealand, perna canaliculus contains a wide range of nutrients which are beneficial to joints. Their Omega 3 content is believed to support a healthy defense against specific destructive and inflammatory enzymes that can degrade the cartilage. Meanwhile, their naturally rich mineral content supplies phosphorus, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium which supports healthy bones, tissue repair, muscular strength and comfort, immunity, and physical energy.
Chondroitin Sulfate: Chondroitin is naturally found in the cartilage surrounding joints. Supplementing with chondroitin – one of the essential building blocks of cartilage – helps support healthy cartilage maintenance and comfort.
Vitamin C: A powerful antioxidant, Vitamin C is not only an essential component of collagen synthesis (the main protein in joint tissues and bone), it also provides a healthy defense against free radicals which may cause inflammation.
Manganese: A mineral essential for calcium absorption and the building of bones and connective tissues, manganese supplementation helps support healthy bone strength.

Arthro Chews FAQs
Q: What is Arthro Chews?
A: Arthro Chews is a Dietary Supplement that uses a blend of nutrients that naturally supports your cat's healthy joints, cartilage, bones, muscles, immunity, and mobility.
Q: What is arthritis?
A: Arthritis can be defined as inflammation of a joint, usually accompanied by pain, swelling, and stiffness, and resulting from infection, trauma, degenerative changes, metabolic disturbances, or other causes. It occurs in various forms, such as bacterial arthritis, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Q: What are the signs of arthritis in cats?
A: Cats who were once active and now act lazy, sleep more than usual, show reluctance to go up or down stairs, have trouble getting up in the morning, and can't stand on their back two haunches as they could previously, are showing signs of arthritis. They may appear to be 'stiff-legged' or lame, and these may also be attributed to arthritis. A veterinarian will be able to diagnose your pet, but if your cat suddenly starts acting differently from 'old age', it may be caused by arthritis.
Q: Is Arthro Chews approved by the FDA?
A: In 1994, Congress passed the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) that provided strict guidelines for the labeling and marketing of human dietary supplements. DSHEA established supplements intended for human consumption as a new class of food for purposes of federal regulation. Most animal health supplements are considered "drugs of low regulatory priority" and are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). If the product is intended as a source of minerals and vitamins for a non-human food chain animal (dogs, cats and horses), it is classified as a nutritional or feed supplement and regulated by the FDA and individual state feed control officers through the AAFCO Model Bill. Most states follow the recommendations of the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). Arthro Chews are considered an animal supplement, therefore falling into this category.
