How Long Does it take for the Oral Medicine to Work?
The length of time, and amount of product used depends upon the response you get and how severe the situation was when you started using it. To start, I like to begin with a half dose twice daily. With improvement then I would suggest giving a whole dose once a day for a while. It is also helpful to give digestive enzymes, probiotics, MSM, and fish oil.
Using a shampoo weekly could be drying his coat out. What do you use, make sure to not use human shampoo? Also, be sure to rinse well. Our Defendex shampoo is formulated to help soothe irritated and dry skin. Using supplements like fish oil would be helpful. We have an oral Omega 3,6,9 that can help moisturize the skin from the inside. We also have a homeopathic called Derma-IonX that addresses many skin issues. It helps to reduce itchiness and helps the skin feel better. A diet can be an important factor, make sure to feed your dog a grain free diet with fish or turkey as the protein.
Combining Vetionx Products
You should give them at separate times, a half dose of one in the morning and a half dose of the other in the evening. I find it easiest to add it to the food. Generally some is wasted if added to the water dish because it is important to change the water regularly and some of it will be thrown away when the bowl is cleaned and refilled.
How to administer products to pets
Since it is liquid it can be added to food or water. We prefer to add it to food since there is usually little waste. When added to the water bowl some might be thrown out when changing the water. Please remember to avoid using stainless steel, metal bowls, or spoons. When using our oral products ceramic, glass, and plastic work best.
Can humans get mange/scabies from their pets?
Demodectic mange does not. Sarcoptic mange of pets can cause transient problems in humans. There are are different species of Sarcoptic mites and they prefer their correct host but can hop onto the wrong host for a while. If you suspect you have mange/scabies, please visit your doctor immediately to start treatment.
Will Dia-IonX help with quality of life if Insulin is NOT given?
Dia-Ionx is used in conjunction with a pet's insulin shots, but it does NOT replace the shots. However some owners are able to greatly decrease the amount of insulin with time with the supervision of their vet, so you would just need to work with your vet. We want to share with some additional information in regards to our product to help guide you in making the best decision for your pet. Dia-IonX was designed to help with the symptoms of diabetes. It helps the body to better utilize diet and supplements better for a synergistic effect for a faster response. Dia-IonX also contains homeopathics that benefit the kidneys. Other dietary restrictions, for diabetic pets, must also be taken into consideration such as; feeding only diabetes-approved food and treats. To optimize health, give enzymes with each meal, add a probiotic, and a fish oil (for dogs include MSM and Vitamin C). Exercise helps to move glucose from the blood stream into the muscles helping to regulate the blood sugar levels. Hopefully you can get your pet to play, having a consistent schedule is necessary in good regulation.
Should I give asprin to my pet?
We do not recommend giving a pet aspirin. Stomach bleeding that may occur with aspirin use. Promaxol is a better choice.
With a long-standing history of safety and efficacy dating back over a 100 years, homeopathics are a specific type of natural medicine designed on the principle of "like cures like."
Seeking alternatives to the often dangerous and even deadly treatments of their time, the brave doctors who first developed homeopathic practices would take small doses of natural ingredients to observe and note every effect the ingredient had. Those records they compiled over many years of research now make up the homeopathic "bible," known as the Materia Medica, which have guided the production of homeopathic treatments ever since.
Homeopathics work similarly to the way our modern day vaccines do. Teaching the body to fight back against symptoms, ingredients which most closely mimic the complaints of a patient in their raw form are actually those best suited to treat them in a homeopathic dilution.
The natural ingredients used in homeopathic ingredients, are diluted to such minute doses as to be rendered safe and free of side-effects. Yet, with the secondary process of homeopathic potentization, those minute doses are able to work powerfully with the body to fight back against symptoms. As with a vaccine, but without the viral ingredients or potential side-effects they carry, very small, safe doses of these natural ingredients work to improve immunity and resistance to problem symptoms and, ultimately to provide relief.
What Are Homeopathics? Basically:
As a long-standing approach to medicine with roots back over a hundred years, the traditional language of homeopathy can, understandably, be somewhat confusing for people today. Homeopathic indications and ingredient names are the same as those originally recorded by the leading forefathers of the practice.
Seeking alternatives to the often dangerous and even deadly treatments of their time, brave, pioneering homeopathic doctors would take small doses of natural ingredients to observe and note every effect the ingredient had. They left nothing out. As a result, even besides being written in the language of their day which may be antiquated, the recorded effects (indications) may seem very specific or even strange sounding. However, effects are genuine and important to list in their entirety, because homeopaths use that information to select the best ingredients for a patient's symptoms. The ingredients which had caused effects closest complaints of their patients, are actually the ingredients best suited to relieve them. Similar to the way vaccines work, very small, safe doses of these natural ingredients are used to improve immunity and resistance to the problem symptoms people experience. (More on the production and action of homeopathics HERE)
Today's homeopaths follow the same time-tested approach and use the same traditional language of our founding fathers so that today's homeopathic users may reap the same benefits of this practice long renowned for its safety and efficacy.
Indications are taken directly as-is from the "Materia Medica" (in Latin, "Medical Materials") of homeopathy's forefathers - namely Boericke's and Clarke's. The language and terms used are the language and terms common to the time they were originally written. Indications for homeopathic ingredients are derived from notes on the specific symptoms and experiences of the doctors originally testing them.
Ingredients are listed by their traditional Latin homeopathic names and were specially selected to target the symptoms you’re experiencing.
